Robust H∞ observer for time-delay systems: Application to FDI for irrigation canals

Résumé

This paper deals with the problem of fault detection and isolation on time-varying delayed systems. It consists on developing a robust H∞ observer to generate residuals sensitive to some faults and insensitive to others in order to realize the detection and isolation of actuators faults which can occur on the gates of the Channel.The problem is formulated as a convex optimisation problem and solved numerically with LMI toolbox.
