Asteroseismology of delta Scuti Stars: Problems and Prospects

We briefly outline the state-of-the-art seismology of delta Scuti stars from a theoretical point of view: why is it so difficult a task? The recent theoretical advances in the field that these difficulties have influenced are also discussed.
