Virtual Observatory and Ephemerides of the Solar System Objects

Résumé

Research in dynamics and astrometry of objects of the Solar system leads us to provide various data useful for the preparation of astrophysical observations from the Earth and from the space, or for the analysis of these observations. At the present time, our web server (www.imcce.fr) allows many users to get, on a large time interval, accurate positions of the objects of the solar system. The advent of the Virtual Observatory will offer new facilities in order to crossmatch information from various sources, thanks to the use of international standards. Thus we intend to develop new web services concerning the Solar system objects in this specific context of interoperability: data base of their physical and orbital characteristics, physical ephemerides (i.e. aspects), ephemerides of their positions, astrometric tools for image processing and orbital reconstruction.
