EXAFS STUDY OF LIQUID AND SOLID GALLIUM, TEMPERATURE AND ANISOTROPY EFFECTS

Extended X-ray Absorption Fine Structure (EXAFS) measurements are reported for crystalline solids α and β-Gallium, and for liquid in the supercooled state. The Comparison of these results to the previous structure knowledge is discussed in terms of both temperature and atomic environment dependence.
