A large amount of interesting results can be obtained by these approaches, however no practical limits of validity are available. In this paper, a method to obtain simple upper bounds for amplitudes of changes of coordinates is proposed. Simple conservative mechanical examples are provided to illustrate the bounds estimation and their validity. %G English %2 https://hal-ensta-paris.archives-ouvertes.fr/hal-01154715/document %2 https://hal-ensta-paris.archives-ouvertes.fr/hal-01154715/file/DSTA2011CHLCTOT.pdf %L hal-01154715 %U https://hal-ensta-paris.archives-ouvertes.fr/hal-01154715 %~ ENSTA %~ CNRS %~ EC-LYON %~ CNAM %~ ENTPE %~ LTDS %~ INSMI %~ ENSTA_UME %~ TDS-MACS %~ UNIV-HESAM %~ UNIV-HESAM-CNAM %~ LMSSC-CNAM %~ UDL %~ ENISE %~ HESAM-CNAM %~ HESAM
